We rented a van for three weeks and did a road trip through northern Quebec and the Gaspé Peninsula. We were delighted with our vehicle; we easily found places to sleep either in the car or in the rooftop tent. Everything is well thought out and very functional. A magnificent adventure with Le Baroudeur! 18 days of road-tripping through Quebec, breathtaking landscapes, wonderful discoveries, and memories to last a lifetime. The van was perfect, fully equipped, and very well-equipped to fully enjoy this experience close to nature.

I am extremely pleased with my Dodge Caravan conversion kit from the great folks at Vanpackers! The personalised service ( and notes!) was top notch and the product is quality through and through. Shipping was efficient and reasonable for the distance the product had to travel and the kit was well packed. Set up was actually super easy and took less than an hour to unpack, assemble and test out. The efficiency and ingenuity of the kit means no modifications to your vehicle and you are instantly in camper or passenger mode ( with stow n go seats). We went camping the day it arrived and it was perfect. Well done folks - and I 100% recommend the product.

From the time we ordered our Vanpackers conversion kit for our mini van till we received it here in Oregon was about three weeks. We are super excited with this purchase. The kit was exactly as described and we are anxiously awaiting warmer weather to get out and enjoy it. The pieces all went in effortlessly and quickly. The workmanship and quality is excellent! We cannot say enough great things about Le Baroudeur - Vanpackers:
1. They are a CANADIAN company (yay!)
2. They have EXCELLENT customer service. Gab was prompt to respond to our many inquiries, explained and demonstrated the features of the van conversion kit, and helped install our kit into our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The entire team is kind and friendly and a real pleasure to deal with.
3. The engineering and attention to detail that went into the kit design is PHENOMENAL! We wouldn't change a thing. It is obvious that Gab and his team have incorporated all the customer feedback through van rentals into making the best kit.
4. Have van will travel - this kit is a GAME CHANGER. Since our kit purchase in late August 2022, we have used the van nearly every weekend for either overnight trips or day trips. It is super easy to just pack some clothes and food and go. What we love most, is that once we arrive at our campsite, we simply park the van, and voila, we are set up.
5. The kit is so VERSATILE. Our van is much more than just a passenger vehicle. It has a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a bedroom. The kit is comfy even for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child under 10). Conversion between the different modes is quick and simple. It is also super easy to remove and install the entire kit with 2 people.
6. Not only does the kit function amazingly but it LOOKS SHARP too! We love to show off the kit. Everyone who has seen it is super impressed with its design and style.

We just purchased the compact cargo van conversion kit from Vanpackers for our 2016 Dodge Ram Promaster City, after admiring its ingenious layout, attractiveness and reasonable price online. Although the Vanpackers web site says the kit for the Promaster City is "forthcoming," we can assure you that the kit fits perfectly into the Promaster City which is very available in the United States. Because the Nissan NV 200 has been discontinued, it makes the Promaster a viable alternative. I first inquired with Vanpackers about the Promaster about two months ago, and all of my communication with Gab and Jessica has been prompt, informative and courteous. We decided to make the 3 hour drive from the U.S. to Vanpackers in Montreal, instead of having the kit shipped, to be certain that it would fit. Gab took a lot of time with us to show us all of the features of the kit, and we decided to buy it "on the spot". I've taken the van camping twice since we bought it two weeks ago, and it has worked out very well. My husband and I are in our mid-sixties and 5'9" and 5'10" and we can sit up fully in the bed, as well as in the dinette setup. So far I have set it up with a single bed, but the photos attached also show the van set up with the full-sized bed which easily sleeps two. The dinette/work space setup with the table is really comfortable, and so are the sleeping pads. I have done lots of research on small cargo van conversion kits, and the Vanpackers kit is about half the cost of some "better-known" companies. I highly recommend Vanpackers, and can't thank them enough for their creative and flexible van conversion kit.

We decided to rent a van with Le Baroudeur because we didn't have camping supplies. It comes with everything you need and a few extras (electric cooler).
Very cool wooden construction which easily stores and makes accessible everything you need, including a propane stove and cutting board.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable and easy to change into. Plenty of space for two average sized adults.
The staff was also super nice and accommodating.
Would definitely rent from them again!
